Herodias

"A light purple garment enveloped her up to the sandals. She exit her room quickly, she did not wear necklaces or earrings; a braid of her black hair falled out on her arm, and disappeared in the pit between her breast. Her nostrils, distended, trembled; the joy of a great victory enlightened her face; with a loud voice, she woke up the Tetrarch:
- Caesar loves us! Agrippa is in prison!
- Who told you so?
- I know! ..."
